Like so many others, we had initially cancelled our 2020 summer season consisting of The Jungle Book, The Three Musketeers, and Romeo & Juliet due to Covid-19.  However, upon being given notice that open-air performances would be allowed to resume on July 11th, we instantly made the decision to do everything in our power to produce some form of theatre.

Given the incredibly quick turn around, we were thrilled to have been able to book and rehearse a tour of our critically-acclaimed production of The Wind in the Willows. The tour ran August 7 – September 1, 2020 in what will forever be one of our most unforgettable experiences…there’s nothing quite like touring a family musical during a global pandemic with the constant threat of lockdown!

Every single venue adhered to the Government guidelines ensuring audiences were safe and, whilst this meant reducing the capacity for most from 500 to 250/300, we sold out the vast majority of venues.

This tour will always hold a special place in our hearts for what it represented to not only us as a company but also for the hope it gave our audiences that some form of normality was in sight. Long live LIVE THEATRE!
