Following a sell-out, one week preview run in Kennington, Off-West End nominated Immersion Theatre are thrilled to be transferring the darkly comic production to The Hen & Chickens Theatre in Highbury & Islington. New additions to the mostly original cast add a new dynamic to the deadly freak show promising even more blood, laughter and gore than before. Following their 5 star rated and off west end award nominated production of Julius Caesar, Immersion Theatre will be embarking on their first collaborative project. Joining forces with brand new company, Theatre of the Broken Dolls, Immersion are proud to be collaborating on a one week PREVIEW run of a deeply disturbing, darkly comic, blood soaked production of Thomas Middleton's rarely performed, "The Revenger's Tragedy".

But after the spectators have gone home, the candy floss has been eaten and the sequinned costumes put away, Duke's becomes a playground for vice, violence and corruption. We invite you into the suffocating world of the travelling troupe to meet the beautiful and virtuous Castiza and the voluptuary Lussurioso, the Ringmaster's scheming heir; we invite you to meet the duplicitous twins, Ambitioso and Supervacuo and their younger brother - a smiling clown by day but a vicious rapist who stalks the empty fairground at night.... We invite you into the boudoir of the Duchess, up into the dizzying heights of the Big Top and right into the centre of the sawdust ring... We invite you to the circus!
